Upcoming Seminars and Concerts
CAN YOU HEAR US?...Kaitlin, Liesel and Zach Pflederer, a brother and sister trio from central Illinois, will be with us in concert on Sunday, February 21 at 6:00 PM in the sanctuary. Can You Hear Us? is dedicated to being a voice for those who can not make themselves heard, particularly victims of human trafficking. Through their music, they hope to increase awareness of those silenced by injustice and to impel people to take a stand on their behalf. They also support organizations such as 4Kids of South Florida and Formando Vidas in Columbia, which are seeking to bring the love of Jesus in a tangible way to those caught in local poverty and international trafficking. Come and hear the songs and stories of some of those who are crying out for hope. Following the service, join us in the cafe area for a time of food and fellowship.
MARRIAGE SEMINAR...Our church is hosting the Focus on the Family “Celebrating God’s Design for Commitment” marriage satellite seminar on Saturday, February 27 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Speakers include Gary Thomas, Kirk and Chelsea Cameron, Francis Chan, Les and Leslie Parrot, Gary Chapman and Stephen Kendrick. There is an hour lunch break. You may leave the facility to go somewhere for lunch or you may sign up for the lunch that will be provided by the church (a free-will offering will be taken). Tickets are $35 per couple. Sign up and pay at the Welcome Center. Be sure to pick up an invitation flyer at the Welcome Center and invite your friends, neighbors and co-workers!!
LINCOLN BREWSTER...Our church, along with 89.5 WBCL, will be co-sponsoring a worship seminar and concert with Lincoln Brewster on Saturday, April 10. The worship seminar will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM (doors open at 3:30 PM) and Seth Bible will kick the concert off at 7:30 PM, followed by Lincoln Brewsteraround 8:00 PM (doors open at 6:45 PM).
Tickets are as follows:
Concert $15 (general admission/no reserved seating)
Seminar $15
Concert and Seminar $30 (includes a light meal in between)
Groups of 20 or more - Concert $12.50
Groups of 20 or more - Concert and Seminar $27.50
Tickets will be available after February 1 and may be purchased at the church office. You must purchase a ticket to register for this event. The Kidz connection exists to enable parents to teach their children to love God and others in a real way. Not only will your children have a blast, but they will learn more about God and His Word.
