Alive

We meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:45 to 8:30 PM.

This activity will be an exciting time for any Junior High student to come and learn what it means to truly live like they are ALIVE. Each Wednesday night, students will get to help out and worship through high energy music, crazy team building games, small groups which will push students to practically understand their faith, and teaching loaded with truth. The truth is that God made us ALIVE with Christ (Ephesians 2:4-5). Therefore there will be a focus on how a student becomes ALIVE and how a student continues to act ALIVE. The challenge is that today our culture and media push us to live like we are dead; not having any hope, not having any solid answers, not having any direction other than pleasing ourselves. What is crazy is that when we become ALIVE with Christ, we have hope, we have truth, and we have purpose. Come and be ALIVE!

Quiz

We meet on Sunday evenings from 6:45-8:00 PM in Room 308 at the church.

The purpose of quizzing is to instill the knowledge and desire to know the Word of God. The Bible is an incredible compass for people to use to stay focused on what True North is. Without knowledge of it, we often get lost. By memorizing scripture, practicing with other believers, coaching by passionate teachers, and quizzing against other students a true knowledge and desire for Scripture will be established. There are three main quiz-offs are held each year: in November, March, and August.

The purpose of the Student Ministries of the Archbold Evangelical Church is to lead students toward loving God and developing a personal and life changing relationship with Jesus Christ; growing in that relationship; and then discovering and developing their God given gifts and abilities to love and share Christ with others.
