THE PURPOSE
The purpose of AEC Kids Ministry is to show kids and their families the love of Jesus by building relationships with them, praying for them, and teaching them the Word of God and how to live it out through their words and actions.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When you arrive, look for the AEC Kids check-in kiosks behind the Welcome Center. An AEC Kids leader will walk you through the registration process.
Because we value safety, we’ll gather a few details such as your family’s names, your child’s birthday, contact info, and any special instructions (like allergies). Your child will receive a name tag with a security code that matches your parent tag. You’ll present your parent tag at pickup to match the code with your child’s tag.
Safety: All Kids Ministry volunteers are trained and background-checked. A member of our security team monitors the Kids area during the worship gathering.
Nursing Mother's Room: If you need to nurse or change your baby, our Nursing Mother’s Room is located near the Kids Check-In kiosks and includes a livestream of the worship gathering.
SUNDAY MORNINGS
During 9:00am Worship Gathering
Kids Ministry is available for babies through 6th grade. When you arrive, please check in all children. Babies–Age 3: Go straight to their rooms after check-in.
PreK–6th Grade: Begin in the main service with the adults. After worship, parents/guardians will be dismissed to take them to their classrooms. We offer classes for children from infants (1 and under) through 6th grade.
What Kids Experience
Ages 2 and under: Loving care through play, simple crafts, songs, and gentle attention. Age 3: Uses the Gospel Light curriculum. PreK–6th Grade: Learn from The Gospel Project with videos, live teaching, and small groups.
Our goal is to create a place where kids can belong and know they are loved by Jesus and by us.
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
Meets from 6:30-7:30pm Wednesdays at AEC!
Wednesday Night Kids Ministry is open to children in PreK (must be turning 5 by August and entering Kindergarten) through 6th grade. We meet Wednesdays from 6:30–7:30pm, beginning mid September and running through the end of April. Kids enjoy a fun evening with worship, a Bible lesson, learning activities, and small group time.
