DUSTIN BAUGHMAN

Perrysburg, Ohio, was my hometown, and I’ve lived in Akron and Columbus as well. After seven years of ministry in Perrysburg, the Lord drew us out to Archbold! We’re beyond thrilled to be a part of this community, church, and to raise our family here! I married my high school sweetheart, Carly, and we have three beautiful children, Malachi, Gabriel, and Willow. My idea of a good time is simply being with people and being outdoors. I love hiking, campfires, coffee, and adventures with my wife and kids.

SARA BECK

I grew up in Upland, Indiana and lived in Indianapolis for several years after college before becoming a Buckeye in 2013. I enjoy getting to share life with my husband Justin and our 3 incredible kids. We’ve been a part of AEC for 12 years and are passionate about people encountering the love and presence of Jesus. I enjoy good conversation over a nice cup of decaf, hiking (anything outdoors is a win!), live music, pickleball, and chocolate peanut butter everything.

LAUREN FREY

Hi, I’m Lauren Frey. My husband, Cale, and I began attending AEC after getting married in 2014. We have four girls—Jovie, Haddie, Kenzie, and Lettie—who keep life fun and full! Before joining the AEC staff, I taught elementary school for seven years and later served as the church’s administrative assistant. A few years later, the Lord led me to my current role in Kids Ministry. I love to laugh, spend time with my family, and be outdoors—especially during the fall.

NATHANAEL MILES

I grew up as a pastor’s kid in Michigan and studied at Indiana Wesleyan University before spending 18 years in youth ministry (which keeps me young at heart most days!). I came to AEC in 2015 as the youth pastor, and in 2024 I stepped into the Lead Pastor role and love it! I enjoy spending time with my wife, Miriam, and our two wonderful daughters. In my mind, the perfect day is filled with good coffee, good conversation, and good fishing.

COURTNEY MORTON

After marrying my high school sweetheart Garrett and living in Grand Rapids, Michigan for several years, the Lord brought us back to our hometown and planted us at AEC. Together we have four children and spend most of our time serving and loving the church and wrangling our children. I love caring for our home which is usually full of messes, toys that should be outside, and boisterous children. My binges of choice would be dark chocolate covered pretzels, theology podcasts, gardening, and iced decaf vanilla lattes.

SAMMY REYES

Chicago-born, I reluctantly moved to Archbold at 16. It was dark. There was a lot of corn. But I quickly realized this place is a little piece of peaceful heaven on earth. I have a heart for reaching the lost and love connecting with people who don’t yet know the peace of Jesus. I’m married to Kaitlyn—twelve years my junior, so definitely not my high school sweetheart—and I love being a dad. You’ll find me stealing my wife’s coffee, having honest conversations, and calling people “brother” or “sister” because, honestly, I forget names.

SYBIL RICHARDSON

My family heritage is from Archbold. I grew up in Fayette and would come to AEC for VBS and sometimes Sunday church. My husband is Cory and we have been married 31 years, we have three beautiful daughters, Lexa, Shylo, and Brinly. Cory and I started coming to AEC in 1999. I began working on staff in 2017 and I enjoy cleaning and love my church family! Coffee and talking is my brew! Our family enjoys being together in Ohio or in Texas.

PETER RUPP

I grew up in northwest Ohio and while I moved around a bit in my early twenties I wound up back here in 2015 when I started working at King's Cross Church in Defiance. In 2020 King's Cross sent me to AEC and I've been here ever since! I'm married to my beloved wife Lydia and we have two beloved children, Calvin and Estella. My idea of a good time is getting coffee with a friend, playing any sport, reading a good book, or watching Michigan football (when they're winning).

MIKAELA STUCKEY

I grew up in Massillon, Ohio, and met my husband, Oliver, at Spring Arbor University. He brought me to Northwest Ohio, where I quickly fell in love with Archbold—it’s been home ever since! We have three wonderful kids—Artie, Freya, and Daniella—plus two pups, Poppy and Penny, and a turtle named Frog. Since 2021, I’ve been blessed to serve on staff at AEC. I love playing soccer with Artie, swinging with the girls, enjoying family game nights, and worshiping the Lord through music.

SAMANTHA WYSE

I grew up in the beautiful state of Maine, but it didn’t take long for this small corner of Ohio to feel like home. After moving here from Indianapolis in 2022, my husband, Tanner, and I quickly got connected at AEC and knew this was where we were meant to be. We have one son, Truett, and love spending time together as a family. Things that bring me joy (outside of Jesus!) are coffee dates, walks, a good book, and simply being in the presence of my people!

MIRIAM MILES

The outdoors make me come alive, whether I’m hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, or taking long walks on the beaches of northern Michigan. I’ve been married to my smoking-hot husband for 17 years, and together we’re raising two beautiful girls who share our love for travel, games, and collecting plants and rocks. Since 2008, I’ve served in youth ministry, sharing the love of Jesus and the hope of the gospel with the next generation. Rooted in faith, family, and adventure, I’m passionate about people, purpose, and discovering the beauty God has placed in the world around us.
