New Life (Hayat Jadida) is a community of Arabs and Americans united in Christ and in their efforts to see Christ honored by all peoples by creating a Jesus centered, biblically based church consisting of both English and Arabic speakers dedicated to hospitality, discipleship, and evangelism among the Arab and American peoples of Toledo, Ohio.
LIfewise academy
LOCATION:

LifeWise Academy provides Bible education for public school students during school hours! We started the Lifewise Academy for K-4th grade in 2023/2024. We expanded to the 5th grade in 2024/2025 school year. The primary purpose is to share the Gospel unapologetically to the elementary and middle school students. This may include outreaches, evangelism efforts etc. Students meet once a week for 40 minutes. We use the Scout Cabin by the middle school for the 5th graders which we started this year.
ALIVE MINISTRY
LOCATION:

Our primary focus is to connect unchurched students to our church ministries—especially those who might not typically attend The Garage (our AEC Students location). We've done this by offering incentives, providing meals, arranging rides home, and teaching series that emphasize the importance of being part of a larger community of believers. Another key goal has been encouraging students to attend Sunday services. One effective incentive has been offering a meal after the service. We also look for opportunities to involve them in volunteering on Sundays—whether in the café or by helping set up around the church—so they feel a sense of purpose and belonging.
THE SANCTUARY
LOCATION:

The main reason The Sanctuary Homeless Shelter exists is to share the Gospel in a practical way among men, women and children experiencing homelessness within our community. We provide more than a safe shelter; We empower people to regain dignity of life and hope in Christ. Through a very structured program, we help them to work, stay clean, and build safe relationships in the church. This provides a platform for the church to serve people in homelessness and for people at the end of their line to have a safe, Christ-centered place to relaunch into life and healing.
LAUNDRY BUDDIES
LOCATION:
ARCHBOLD, OHIO
Four times a year, two people go to the Laundromat and give out quarters or detergent. The purpose is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need, show kindness and talk with people, maybe getting a chance to pray with them.
SOFTBALL MINISTRY
LOCATION:
BRYAN, OHIO
Our primary focus is to bring all people young and old from our church to be able to play softball in a way that will bring honor and glorifies God. This may include giving each of us the opportunity to share the Gospel with people who come to watch us.
